Guillow's 900 Series T-28 Trojan

The 900 series are some of the better flying scale models in the Guillow's line-up!  Rubber powered models with minimal parts and simple construction.  Built light, they are great fliers with ample wing areas.  These kits contain quality die-cut balsa wood, plastic nose cowls, canopies and water-slide decals.

This model has good flying potential and can be finished as a trainer or attack plane!

Due to the die-cut parts, we recommend these for more experienced builders, but a beginner can succeed with patience.  For flying, we suggest you upgrade your model with one of our 6" or 7" props, Super Sport rubber and our Asuka 'Flying Bird' tissue.

For now, we will carry the entire 900 series line.  The models with the best potential to fly well include the Bird Dog, Chipmunk, Skyraider and Trojan.  If the model you want is out of stock, just contact us and we will get it for you!

*** The T-28 was the first post-war advanced trainer produced in quantity.  Used to train pilots for high-speed jet aircraft starting in 1950, nearly 2000 of these trainers where built before production ended in 1957.  With the war in Vietnam, the T-28 was given a new lease on life when it proved to be effective “COIN’ (counter insurgency) aircraft against enemy forces operating in the dense tropical jungle.  Flown by South Vietnamese pilots, the T-28 usually also carried an American advisor-observer on these combat missions.
