Guillow's 300 Series DHC-2 Beaver
The Beaver has great proportions for a flying model. Many full-scale Beavers are still flying today, so it will be easy to find a scale subject if you so desire! For rubber power, we suggest you upgrade your model with one of our props, Super Sport rubber and our Asuka 'Flying Bird' tissue.
The 300 series contains popular private planes, and all kits are now laser-cut! Many of these planes are still flown today. Whether built for display or contest flying, the models in this series represent the finest in design and flight capability. Each can be flown using rubber power or converted to use a gas or electric motor (instructions for converting to gas/electric flight are NOT supplied in kits).
We selected certain models from this series for their potential flying ability, but if you want any model from the 300 series line, just contact us and we will get it for you!
*** An authentic scale model of the S.T.O.L. (Short Take-Off and Landing) aircraft, the de Havilland Canada DHC-2 Beaver is primarily known as a bush plane. It is used for cargo and passenger hauling in the rugged and remote areas of the world. This Guillow's model is a faithful replica of the real plane, designed for ease of assembly and flight stability. A beautiful model of an exceptionally fine light plane.
